The Tune Squad Court

In 2019, Warner Bros. funded the restoration of the historic Rodney Park North basketball court in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. LeBron James had just been announced as the star of Space Jam: A New Legacy, and nostalgia for the franchise was running high. To inaugurate the court’s reopening, our team produced “The Tune Squad Court,” a Space Jam-inspired community event.
To set the stage, the court itself was fitted with a custom Looney Tunes mural and backboard wraps by street artists Evan Rossell and Dee Rosse. A pickup game featuring NYC street-ball influencers opened the event, followed by a star-studded lineup of more local icons. Eric Bauza (the voice of the Looney Tunes), emceed the entire experience. Event details and exclusive merch were shared via a custom-designed microsite.
